Half of this shop is flannel: brown-tone plaid, printed plaid, a relaxed southwestern check. The other half is the layer that goes under it, a rib henley or a lace-trim knit that reads as a top on its own.
We buy in short runs and we close every shirt before it is listed. If the placket pulls across the chest, we say so on the page instead of photographing around it.

What we look for
- Closed before listed — Every button-down is worn closed and open to check the placket and the drape.
- Snaps that hold — Pearl snaps and western yokes are tested before a blouse earns a place.
- Short runs — Plaids bought in small quantities, so the print is not on every second street.
